“ My husband and I came here recently after looking for a new steakhouse in Brooklyn. Malone's did not disappoint! We ordered the whipped ricotta app and the dry-aged ribeye, both cooked and seasoned very well. Service was attentive and warm. I've frequented Peter Luger's (Malone's is better in my opinion) amongst other steakhouses in NYC and Malone's does it right and will be on repeat for us! ”
“ First time eating at this neighborhood gem. Food was delicious. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and the tuna tartare was so yummy especially with the side of chips it comes with. Ordered the porter house for 3 of us - medium rare - it melted in our mouth's. Our waiter Dominick was so friendly and the food came out quick. Overall great dining experience and also super cozy. Can't wait to go back. ”
“ Good steak and sevice. Also has other options like pasta and fish for those who aren't carnivores. ”
“ Good old-school steakhouse. Service is always friendly and the food is good. Keep in mind Malone's is located waaaaay down in Brooklyn in Bay Ridge near the Verrazano Bridge. Otherwise, I'd come here more. Super cozy steakhouse for when you're in the area. Recommended! ”
“ Greetings, fellow Foodies!!! This was my first time dining at Malone's Chop House in Bay Ridge and it will NOT be my last! Despite being a "native New Yorker", I had never heard of Malone's and am saddened at all the food & smiles I clearly could've had at this establishment. FOOD: 5/5 Both my brother & I ordered the Lamb Chops and they did not disappoint. Well-seasoned, thick cut, & juicy--the lamb tasted amazing (cooked medium). The broiled honey Brussel sprouts & cheese-infused potatoes added a hearty flavor as our sides. I appreciated that the food was neither greasy nor overcooked. SERVICE: 5/5 Bravo! To our server Dominic. He was friendly, informed about the menu, & extremely accommodating to the questions we had about the sides & deserts. Thank you, Dom for taking our picture & providing such exemplary customer service!!! :) AMBIANCE: 4.7/5 With all of the relics of "old" New York City, pictures of old Hollywood royalty, & the open layout--I enjoyed dining, laughing, & looking at the photos, news articles, & other images on the walls. *BATHROOM CLEANLINESS: 4.5/5 I typically include this in my reviews, simply b/c it speaks to the pride that restaurant has in it self. I intend to add Malone's Chop House to "My Faves" & will return in July to celebrate the birthday of an elder. OVER ALL DINING EXPERIENCE: 4.8/5 (Enjoy this restaurant & call-ahead regarding parking on the weekends.) ”
“ There's an old saying that goes "you get what you pay for". In this case, we received a lot more. From start to finish, the experience was superb. This is a cozy restaurant near the Verrazano bridge in Bay Ridge. The decor was unique. The seating was comfy. The service was above and beyond what I'd hoped for. And the food! Everything we tried was delicious. We started with the cheese plate and loaded cottage fries. My husband and daughter had filet Mignon and I went with the NY strip with asparagus friti and the au gratin sides. The cocktails were delicious and they made my Daughter a delicious mock mojito. We will definitely be back. This is a great place to celebrate and have a great meal. This is the kind of service, food and experience I miss in restaurants and I'm glad to have found it again. ”
“ Great neighborhood steak spot with manhattan feels. Interior ambiance is spot on, drinks are great and service isn't elite but not bad either. The porterhouse was yummy as well as sides but it was burned a bit ( medium steak ) but it has a black coal like shell to it from over burning the outside. Over all I'd come back ”
“ Large portions, great staff! Malone did not disappoint! The food was fresh, flavorful and plenty. We enjoyed each item we ordered except the crab cakes... the lemon overpowered the crab taste. Our lobster bisque was hot and creamy, steak good to our liking and flavorful, bake potato fluffy and hot and the asparagus friti was a nice treat. I would recommend going here for family dinners, celebrations or when you just really want to eat good. ”
